IMPROSapiens ENGLISH

Adults · in EnglishBeginner levelMondays 7:00 PMStarts: mid-October 2026

Our English-speaking group. Living in Wrocław and craving a good laugh in a language you actually think in? This is your room. A clash of cultures in a comedy room is pure dynamite — the results outrun every expectation.

Improvised scenes built from situations across the globe, and a sense of humour gathered from every corner of the world — that's the recipe for unforgettable evenings. You don't need any stage experience. You just need to show up. Curious what you actually train while being funny? Take a look at the competency map.

Prefer Polish, or already speaking it? We also run workshops in Polish — see all the groups →

Before you sign up

A few things worth knowing — so nothing catches you off guard.

📍 Where

In person in Wrocław, in the Psie Pole district — Chata Małolata, ul. Czernicka 1.

👥 We wait for a group

Improv is trained in a group. Even after you sign up, you'll get a note on whether and when classes start — we need at least 8 people.

💳 Pay later

You pay nothing before the first class. The monthly pass is paid at the start of the month, only once the group is running.

🚪 No strings attached

You can leave any time — just let me know, because in a small group every person counts.

♿ For everyone

A mild disability is no problem at all in class.

How I run the classes

My own method, shaped over years — you learn not from what I say, but from what you feel while doing.

Every class is devoted to building one or two new skills and reinforcing what we practised before. I pick the skills the way children learn the alphabet — from the most essential ones to the increasingly advanced.

  1. Theory — only if needed. Sometimes I'll give a little theory at the start. Usually there's none at all — we just play.
  2. A long improv warm-up. Usually several parts and 8–12 exercises. This is where the skills are really built.
  3. A block of scene work. We strengthen the new skills and cement the earlier ones — this time on stage.

Class is for trying, not for being judged. You won't get feedback from me — but I'll cheer you on when you do something spectacular. You learn through how you feel about what you're doing: how the group responds, how happy, heard and understood you are, how you click with your partner.

One level usually lasts 3–6 months — depending on what the group wants.
